SUPPORT FOR OLDER ADULTS TO CONTINUE TO LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOMES BY PROVIDING TRANSPORTATION, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES, FITNESS CLASSES, A BOOK CLUB, WALK AND TALK, COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS, MEXICAN TRAIN DOMINOES, MAHJONG, BREAKFAST AT IHOP, AND LUNCH AT BJ'S.

Part 3 - Line 4a
CORE FITNESS AND YOGA CLASSES. CORE FITNESS AND YOGA CLASSES ARE HELD IN THE COMMUNITY CENTER MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS. THE WELL RECEIVED CLASSES FOCUSED ON EXERCISES WHILE SITTING IN A CHAIR. THE CLASSES ARE FREE TO VILLAGE MEMBERS. NON-VILLAGE ATTENDEES MUST PAY A $10 FEE TO THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE QUARTERLY LUNCHEON EVENTS AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER, HOLIDAY PARTY AND SUMMER PICNIC. WE ALSO GIVE EACH MEMBER A POINSETTIA PLANT DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON.
COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS. VIRTUAL ZOOM COOKING DEMONSTRATIONS ONCE MONTHLY FOR OUR MEMBERS. THE DEMONSTRATIONS ARE AN EXCELLENT WAY OF TEACHING OUR MEMBERS GOOD HABITS AND PROVIDING RECIPES FOR HEALTHY FOODS.
