BUILD FUTURES PURPOSE IS TO HELP TRANSITIONAL AGE YOUTH TAY AGE 18-24 FROM HOMELESSNESS TO SELF SUFFICIENCY BY PROVIDING HOUSING AND A STEP-BY-STEP PROGRAM OF INTERVENTION CALLED STEPS TO SUCCESS.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

BUILD FUTURES WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE OUR MISSION AS WE HOUSED 87 TRANSITIONAL AGE YOUTH, AGE 18-24, IN 2022. WE SHIFTED THE WAY WE IMPLEMENT OUR STEPS TO SUCCESS BY MEETING OUT CLIENTS OUT IN THE FIELD AT GOVERNMENT AGENCY OFFICES LIKE DMV OR SOCIAL SERVICES OR EDD OR OTHER NON-PROFITS INSTEAD OF BRINGING THEM INTO THE OFFICE AS WE DID BEFORE THE PANDEMIC. FOR MANY OF OUR CLIENTS MEETING THEM AT THE PLACES THEY NEED TO GO FOR ID OR EBT OR JOBS OR MEDICAL CARE RESOURCES HELPED THEM FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE AND FACILITATED THEM GETTING THE THINGS THEY NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL INDEPENDENT ADULTS. WE HAD NO STAFFING CHANGES IN 2022.
