THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHES ITS EXEMPT PURPOSE BY WORKING WITH START-UP AND EARLY STAGE COMPANIES, LOCATED PRINCIPALLY IN THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY, ASSISTING THEM IN DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING GOOD STRATEGIC AND FINANCIAL PLANS, UNDERSTANDING AND ACCESSING EARLY STAGE CAPITAL MARKETS AND AVOIDING BUSINESS FAILURES. ANGEL MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN PANEL PRESENTATIONS OF VARIOUS OUTSIDE BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS AND EVENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. ANGEL MEMBERS ALSO ASSIST THE LOCAL BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CENTER, CALTECH ENTREPRENEUR'S FORUM, CALTECH FLOW COMPETITION, ART CENTER COLLEGE OF DESIGN ACCELERATOR, INNOVATE PASADENA, LOS ANGELES PASADENA ANGELS, INC. 90-0037989 VENTURE ASSOCIATION AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS WITH THEIR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. INTERNALLY, WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MATERIALS FOR OUR MEMBERS TO ENHANCE THEIR ABILITY TO SUPPORT AND HELP EARLY STAGE COMPANIES. PASADENA ANGELS CHARGES SUCH COMPANIES NO FEES OF ANY KIND AND PROVIDES ITS SERVICES TO COMPANIES WHICH IT BELIEVES HAVE A SOLID CORE MANAGEMENT TEAM, SIGNIFICANT POTENTIAL FOR SUCCESS AND RECEPTIVENESS TO COACHING AND THE GROUP'S INPUTS. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES HUNDREDS OF INQUIRIES FROM COMPANIES SEEKING ASSISTANCE, MANY OF WHICH PASADENA ANGELS MEMBERS MET AND COUNSELED WITH. EACH OF THOSE RECEIVED VARYING DEGREES OF FEEDBACK AND GUIDANCE FROM SOME OF OUR APPROXIMATELY 100 EXPERIENCED MEMBERS WHO INCLUDE ENTREPRENEURS, SENIOR CORPORATE EXECUTIVES, SKILLED PROFESSIONALS FROM A VARIETY OF INDUSTRIES, AND ACCREDITED INVESTORS. APPROXIMATELY 25 COMPANIES PRESENTED THEIR BUSINESS PLANS TO OUR MONTHLY FULL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS AND SOME ULTIMATELY OBTAINED EARLY STAGE DEBT OR EQUITY FINANCING AS A RESULT OF OUR RELATIONSHIPS.
