THE ORGANIZATION ADVOCATES FOR WOMEN IN THE BUILDING INDUSTRY BY PROMOTING PROFESSIONALISM, SUPPORTING MEMBERS, AND PROVIDING NETWORKING, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, COMMUNITY OUTREACH, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

EDUCATION & OUTREACH THE PWB PROVIDED BOOK READINGS AND PRESENTATIONS TO 12 ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL, 7 ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, AND 5 MIDDLE SCHOOLS FOR COLLEGE AND CAREER PRESENTATIONS. THE PWB PRESENTED AT 5 HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE TRADES PROGRAMS AND 3 COLLEGE PROGRAMS. THE PWB WERE INVITED TO PRESENT TO 3 ADULT AGENCY PROGRAMS IN 2022 INCLUDING THE LAS VEGAS PROFESSIONAL WOMEN IN BUILDING, THE GRAND RAPIDS, MI PROFESSIONAL WOMEN IN BUILDING, AND THE WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION COALITION, WHERE WE RECEIVED "BUILDERS OF THE YEAR AWARD- AND PRESENTED OUR STORY.
GRANTMAKING THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED A GRANT TO A LOW-INCOME HOUSING NONPROFIT TO HELP REPAINT THEIR FACILITIES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED 15 SCHOLARSHIPS TO FEMALE STUDENTS IN TRADE. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED VOLUNTEER SERVICE TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS. THIS INCLUDED COLLABORATING WITH HOMEADE ASSIST WITH A DIAPER DRIVE (COLLECING 500,000 DIAPERS), AND PARTNERING WITH ST. JUDE'S TO COMPLETE A HOME IN SARATOGA SPRINGS.
