IN 2023, OUR GLOBAL TEAM IN SIX DIFFERENT COUNTRIES ENGAGED OVER 100,000 YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH OUR VARIOUS PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES. THIS INCLUDES OVER 12,300 PUPILS IN SCHOOLS THROUGH OUR RESPECT ME CURRICULUM. OUR PRISONS TEAMS SPEND OVER 150 HOURS A MONTH LEADING SERVICES, MENTORING AND DISCIPLESHIP OF MEN AND WOMEN IN PRISON ACROSS THE UK AND SOUTH AFRICA. OUR EX-OFFENDER PROGRAMMES IMPACTED 100 PREVIOUSLY INCARCERATED YOUNG ADULTS WITH TRAINING AND EQUIPPING ALONGSIDE OFFERING FIRST JOB OPPORTUNITIES.THE MESSAGE TRAINING AND EQUIPPING ARM OFFERED A GAP YEAR TRAINING OPPORTUNITY FOR 40 YOUNG ADULTS. WHILE WE CONTINUE TO GROW THE ADVANCE NETWORK OF EVANGELISTS INTO OVER 91 COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD. OUR WORK CONTINUES TO BE SUPPORTED BY A NETWORK OF OVER 700 VOLUNTEERS WHO LIVE AND SERVE IN SOME OF THE MOST VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES IN THE UK, SOUTH AFRICA AND CANADA. IN 2023, WE SCALED OUR WORK TO ADDRESS THE CHALLENGE OF FOOD SECURITY AMONG THE POOREST PEOPLE IN THE UK. IN 2023, WE PROVIDE 43,000 FAMILIES WITH MEALS THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY GROCERY NETWORK. TO ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THIS, THE MESSAGE TRUST PARTNERS WITH HUNDREDS OF CHURCHES WHO WE EQUIP AND SUPPORT TO EFFECTIVELY ENGAGE YOUNG PEOPLE IN HARD-TO-REACH COMMUNITIES.FINALLY, A MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT OF 2023 WAS LAUNCHING NEW MESSAGE HUBS INTO THREE MORE COUNTRIES: BRAZIL, NETHERLANDS AND UGANDA. THESE HAVE BEEN PLANTED OUT OF OUR EXISTING WORKS IN THE UK AND SOUTH AFRICA AND WILL SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE SCOPE AND REACH OF THE ORGANIZATION.
