THE COUNCIL FOR INNOVATION PROMOTION IS A BIPARTISAN COALITION DEDICATED TO PROMOTING STRONG AND EFFECTIVE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS THAT DRIVE INNOVATION, BOOST ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS, AND IMPROVE LIVES ELSEWHERE.

COUNCIL FOR INNOVATION PROMOTION ("C4IP") DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED A COMPREHENSIVE GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS PROGRAM TO EDUCATE POLICYMAKERS, THE ADMINISTRATION, MEDIA, ACADEMICS, AND OTHER AUDIENCES ON THE IMPORTANT ROLE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ("IP") PLAYS IN DRIVING AND SUPPORTING DOMESTIC INNOVATIVE AND CREATIVE INDUSTRY SECTORS, ECONOMIC COMPETITIVENESS AND GROWTH, AND JOB CREATION.
WE PRODUCED A SERIES OF PRO-IP DIGITAL ADS TO INFORM CONSTITUENTS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF PRO-IP ACTIONS BY FIVE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND URGED CONSTITUENTS TO CONTACT THEIR MEMBERS AND ENCOURAGE THEM TO CONTINUE THEIR WORK IN SUPPORT OF PRO-IP LEGISLATION AND POLICIES.
C4IP CREATED THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE AND NEWSLETTER TO SHOWCASE C4IP PRIORITIES, ACTIVITIES, AND PROGRAMS, AND SERVE AS A RESOURCE ON IP POLICY AND RELATED ACTIVITY IN THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS. WE PROVIDED TECHNICAL GUIDANCE AND EXPERT OPINIONS ON DRAFT IP LEGISLATION AND IP-RELATED POLCY PROPOSALS SUCH AS EFFORTS TO EXPAND THE TRIPS WAIVER.
