THIS TRANSITION REFLECTS THE ACADEMY'S COMMITMENT TO SERVING NATIVE HAWAIIAN YOUTH AND PROVIDING A LEARNER-DRIVEN, CULTURALLY INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT. KAULIKE ACADEMY (FORMERLY ACTON DIGITAL ACADEMY) PROGRAM TITLE: LEARNER-DRIVEN HOMESCHOOL CO-OP FOR UNDERSERVED YOUTH KAULIKE ACADEMY OPERATES AS A HOMESCHOOL CO-OP FOCUSED ON SUPPORTING 17 UNDERPRIVILEGED HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUTS, EMPOWERING THEM TO PURSUE EDUCATION THROUGH PERSONALIZED LEARNING PLANS AND HANDS-ON, REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCES. OPIO POP UP MAKEKE AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM: YOUTH-LED MARKETPLACE SERVICES PROVIDED: STUDENTS ORGANIZED AND RAN A YOUTH ENTREPRENEURIAL MARKET SHOWCASING HAWAIIAN CULTURE, WITH 26 VENDORS, 70% OF WHOM WERE NATIVE HAWAIIAN. STUDENTS ALSO RECEIVED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND DIGITAL CERTIFICATION TRAINING.
