WHAT WAS ACHIEVED: THE YEP PARTCIPANTS THROUGH THEATRE, ESTABLISHED CONNECTION BETWEEN THIER INTENTIONALLY DIVERSE COMMUNITIES. THIS TWO-WEEK THEATRICAL INTENSIVE ENCOURAGED INTROSPECTION, CULTURAL COMPREHENSION, AND APPRECIATION. FURTHERMORE, WE FOSTERED INCLUSIVITY WITHIN THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY AND PROVIDED A PLATFORM FOR THESE TEENS TO CREATE AND SHARE THEIR DISTINCTIVE VOICES AND PERSPECTIVES WITH THEIR COMMUNITIES AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE. LAST YEAR 8 INTENTIONALLY DIVERSE STUDENTS WERE SERVED. 40 MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY PLUS A DIVERSE TEAM OF TEACHERS, ARTS PROFESSIONALS, COMMUNITY LEADERS AND BUSINESSES PARTNERED AND BENEFITED FROM THE COLLABORATION.
