THE FREEDOM TO HELP FOUNDATIONS MISSION IS TO ENRICH THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE, EMPOWER INDIVIDUAL SUCCESS THROUGH EDUCATION, PROVIDE RESOURCES FOR HEALTH AND WELLNESS, AND TO SUPPORT THE MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES.

EDUCATION IS ONE OF THE PILLARS OF SUPPORT FOR THE FOUNDATION, ENSURING STUDENTS AND FACULTY HAVE THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS. THE FOUNDATION INVESTS IN STUDENTS AND FACULTY THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS, PROVIDING CLASSROOM SUPPLIES, CLASSROOM PROGRAM INVESTMENTS, AND RESOURCES FOR THOSE PURSUING HIGHER EDUCATION AND CAREER TRAINING. IN 2023, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED OVER $53,000 IN FINACIAL SUPPORT FOR NUMEROUS EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS, COMMUNITY COLLEGES, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND RESOURCES IN THE HARFORD AND BALTIMORE COUNTY COMMUNITIES TO ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE FAMILY SUPPORT, HOUSING, THE MILITARY AND THEIR FAMILIES, THE ARTS, AND ANIMAL WELFARE. OUR COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS WITH COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS ENABLE US TO EXTEND OUR REACH AND MAKE A MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMIES FACING VARIOUS CHALLENGES.
IN 2023, THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED OVER 80 COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT. THE FOUNDATION MAKES A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF SO MANY, OFFERING HOPE, OPPORTUNIY, AND A BRIGHTER FUTURE. OUR UNWAVERING COMMITMENT WILL ALWAYS BE CENTERED AROUND PEOPLE. OUR FOCUS IS ON THE POSITIVE IMPACT WE CAN CREATE IN THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE.
ADDRESSING THE WELLNESS NEEDS OF HEALTHCARE WORKERS WHO SELFLESSLY CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS AND THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE IS ANOTHER PILLAR OF THE FOUNDATION. IN 2023, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED OVER $40,000 IN FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR WELLNESS PROGRAMS FOR HEALTHCARE STAFF, INCLUDING INITIATIVES LIKE THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW FITNESS CENTER FOR STAFF, THE CREATION OF DAILY WELLNESS CARTS,A HARDSHIP FUND, AS WELL AS FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO WELLNESS ORGANIZATIONS AND THEIR STAFF.
