UCAN POWER SEEKS TO ACCELERATE THE DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF THESE TECHNOLOGIES BY ACCOMPLISHING THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS: ADVOCATE FOR CREDIBLE, AFFORDABLE BUSINESS CASES FOR DEVELOPMENT, PRODUCTION, AND LONG-TERM SUSTAINMENT, INCREASE PUBLIC AWARENESS AND BUILD SUPPORT FOR THE SAFETY AND DIVERSITY OF APPLICATIONS AND SITING, SUPPORT THE INCREASE OF NUCLEAR POWER GENERATION TO MEET GLOBAL DEMAND IN EMERGING ENERGY MARKETS, PURSUE POLICIES THAT CREATE LONG-TERM GROWTH OF DOMESTIC GOVERNMENT, MILITARY, AND COMMERCIAL MARKETS, RAISE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE INVESTMENT FOR RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, TEST, AND EVALUATION (RDT&E), AND DEPLOYMENT, SUPPORT PROGRAMS TO RAPIDLY DEVELOP, TEST AND DEMONSTRATE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES, RAISE AWARENESS OF A ROBUST U.S. NUCLEAR INDUSTRIAL BASE AND WORKFORCE AS A NATIONAL SECURITY IMPERATIVE, AND JOIN OTHER ASSOCIATIONS, TRADE ORGANIZATIONS AND STAKEHOLDERS TO DEVELOP AND PROMOTE EFFECTIVE SAFETY STANDARDS/PROTOCOLS THROUGH THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION.
