PROVIDED TECHNICAL INSTRUCTION TO MEMBER IN TRADITIONAL OKINAWAN/JAPANESE KARATE AND KOBUDO TRAINING FROM THE VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTORS AND SENIOR MEMBERS. THE CLUB CONSISTED OF APPROXIMATELY 55 ACTIVE MEMBERS IN 2023. ACTIVITIES OF SHORELINE KARATE CLUB INCLUDES PROMOTION OF MEMBERS THROUGH BELT TESTING TO HIGHER RANKS AND SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN KARATE TOURNAMENTS AND TRAINING SEMINARS. MEMBER FEES ARE USED TO FOR THE RENTAL OF TRAINING SPACE FROM THE AMERICAN LEGION (POST 227), WITH A SCHEDULE OF TRAINING DAYS AND TIMES. MEMBER FEES ARE ALSO USED TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT TO IMPROVE TRAINING (E.G. MIRRORS, KARATE TRAINING GEAR, MATS, ETC.).
