THE ORGANIZATION WILL ORGANIZE EVENTS THAT PROMOTE KOREAN CULTURAL HERITAGE AND HOLD ACTIVITIES THAT CULTIVATE UNDERSTANDING OF KOREAN HISTORY AND KOREAN AMERICAN HISTORY IN TERM OF EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND CULTURES. EVENTS INITIALLY PLANNED INCLUDE FORUMS AND CONFERENCES. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION PLANS TO HOST DELEGATION OF SCHOLARS AND BUSINESS LEADERS, INITIALLY ONE PER YEAR FROM DEVELOPING COUNTRIES LIKE KOREA TO COME TO THE U.S. TO OBSERVE AMERICAN CULTURE AND ECONOMY; TO ATTEND SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES; TO MEET AND EXCHANGE IDEAS WITH U.S. COUNTERPART, AND TO EXPERIENCE THE WESTERN CULTURE AND VALUES.VICE VERSA, THE ORGANIZATION, IN TURN, ALSO PLANS TO ORGANIZE DELEGATION OF U.S. COUNTERPART TO VISIT ASIAN COUNTRIES FOR THE SAME PURPOSES.TO SERVE AS AN INFORMATION CHANNEL AMONG COMMUNITIES AND ORGANIZATIONSTHE ORGANIZATION WILL COORDINATE WITH VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND LOCAL BUSINESSES WITHIN THE KOREAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY. INFORMATION WILL BE TRANSLATED FROM KOREAN TO ENGLISH AND VICE VERSA. THE ENGLISH TRANSLATION WILL HELP THE KOREAN COMMUNITY OUTREACH TO THE MAINSTREAM AND NON-KOREAN COMMUNITIES, CONVEY THEIR MESSAGES, AND COMMUNICATE THEIR THOUGHTS. THE KOREAN TRANSLATION WOULD DO THE SAME IN THE OTHER DIRECTION.TO HELP LOCAL BUSINESS WITHIN THE KOREAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY THE ORGANIZATION WILL TRANSLATE AND MAKE AVAILABLE INFORMATION THAT IS ESSENTIAL TO THE PUBLIC, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE AMONG NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING GROUPS.
