THIMBLEBERRY COLLABORATIVE FARM'S MISSION IS TO ADVANCE INDIVIDUAL, COMMUNITY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH IN EAST MULTNOMAH COUNTY BY PROVIDING HEALTHY, LOCAL PRODUCE GROWN WITH REGENERATIVE METHODS; ACCESS TO LAND; EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS; AND COMMUNITY-LED EVENTS

EDUCATION PROGRAM: OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE FIELD TRIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS, AS WELL AS WORKSHOPS FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS OF ALL AGES. ALL EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOCUS ON GROWING AND COOKING WITH SEASONAL PRODUCE, AS WELL AS THE SOCIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, AND HEALTH IMPACTS OF OUR FOOD SYSTEM, AND WHAT WE CAN DO TO IMPROVE THEM. DURING THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2022, WE SERVED 125 PEOPLE THROUGH OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS; AND 78 STUDENTS THROUGH OUR EDUCATION PROGRAMS.
PRODUCE: UNDER THIS PROGRAM, WE GIVE OUR PRODUCE TO FAMILIES IN NEED IN EAST MULTNOMAH COUNTY. IN 2022, WE DID SO THROUGH PRODUCE DONATIONS. IN 2023, WE WILL PARTNER WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO TURN OUR PRODUCE INTO MEALS AND DELIVER THEM TO PATIENTS AT A LOCAL MEDICAL OFFICE. DURING THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2022, WE DONATED 1,210 POUNDS OF PRODUCE.
