THE COALITION PLATFORM WAS A SPACE FOR CHILD WELFARE SERVICE PROVIDERS TO CONNECT, COLLABORATE, AND LEVERAGE EACH OTHERS STRENGTHS. THE COALITION PLATFORM PROVIDED A PRIVATE SOCIAL NETWORK; A VIRTUAL SPACE TO SHARE RESOURCES AND INFORMATION; TAILORED DISCUSSION GROUPS; AND ONLINE COMMUNITY EVENTS TO DISCUSS CHALLENGES WE FACE IN OUR WORK. BY PROVIDING ALL OF THESE SERVICES IN A SINGLE ONLINE HUB AT NO COST TO MEMBERS, THE COALITION PLATFORM REMOVED BARRIERS TO WORKING TOGETHER IN SERVICE OF VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES AS EFFICIENTLY AS POSSIBLE. IN 2023, THE CHILDRENS ACTION COALITION DISSOLVED AND THE PLATFORM WAS ABSORBED BY NEST GLOBAL (FORMERLY PILA GLOBAL), A NONPROFIT THAT PROVIDES EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION TO CHILDREN IN NEED. THE COALITION PLATFORM LIVES ON IN ITS NEW ORGANIZATIONAL HOME AS THE NEST GLOBAL HUB, AS ONE PROGRAM IN SERVICE OF A LARGER MISSION TO SUPPORT CHILDREN.
