THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS ASSOCIATION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, ADVOCACY AND OPPORTUNITIES TO STRENGTHEN AND PROTECT THE FRAGILE ALPINE ENVIRONMENT, CULTURE, HERITAGE AND FUTURE OF THE DONNER SUMMIT AREA, AND TO CARRY ON THE OTHER CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PURPOSE.

- COMPLETION AND OPENING OF LAMSON CASHION TRAIL & HISTORY HUB (GRANTS FROM PLACER AND NEVADA COUNTY, AND PRIVATE DONATIONS.)- COMPILE DRAFT OF DONNER SUMMIT PUBLIC USE, TRAILS AND RECREATION FACILITIES PLAN- ACQUIRE DONATIONS FROM COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND PARTNER WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR FURTHER COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENTS.
