NATIVE CONSERVANCY LAND TRUST PROGRAM WORK COMPLETED IN SUPPORT OF A RESILIENT COMMUNITY APPROACH FOR HABITAT RESTORATION WITH FIRST STEPS TAKEN TO BUILD A KELP SEED NURSERY AND THEN TO GROW WILD BULL, SUGAR AND RIBBON KELP IN ALASKA. THE PILOT PROJECT GEARED FOR A REGENERATIVE ECONOMY OUTCOME AND THE PILOT PROJECTS IN 7 COMMUNITIES COVERING 100 MILES OF OCEAN. PILOT RESEARCH SOUGHT TO UNDERSTAND PROTECTION OF ENDANGERED HERRING AND THEIR KELP HABITAT AND INCLUDED MULTIPLE PARTNERS LED BY THE NATIVE CONSERVANCY.


NUNEZ EXPEDITIONFINAL EDITING OF TEASER FILM WAS COMPLETED WITH SHORT FILM FEATURING FUNDACIN ANTONIO NEZ JIMNEZ DE LA NATURALEZA Y EL HOMBRE (FANJNH) AND THE VAST SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL WORK OF DR NEZ JIMNEZ IN THE AMAZON AND HIS STORY OF CANOEING ON THE AMAZON RIVER FOR ONE YEAR. ALL FILM AND COLLATERAL ASSETS WERE COMPLETED FEATURING THE VAST WORK HE DID OVER HIS LIFETIME NOW FEATURED IN A TEASER FILM. ALL ASSETS AND STORY NARRATIVE WERE SUBMITTED TO DOCUMENTARY EXPERTS FOR DISBURSEMENT TO THEIR NETWORKS.


GREEN FORESTS WORK SUPPORT FOR GREEN FORESTS WORK SERVED TOWARD A NEW MILESTONE OF PLANTING 3 MILLION TREES OF NATIVE AND MOSTLY HARDWOOD TREE SPECIES PLANTED OVER 5000 ACRES, AND THAT ARE LESS LIKELY TO NATURALLY COLONIZE ON THESE SITES BECAUSE THEY WERE PREVIOUSLY SURFACED MINED LAND SITES. GREEN FORESTS PROJECT INVOLVED PLANTING OF UP TO 20 HABITAT SPECIES TO GET BACK A FULL FOREST INCLUDING THE AMERICAN CHESTNUT TREE WHICH HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE BLIGHT-RESISTANT.
