OUR FISCAL YEAR OF 2022 - 2023 WAS OUR SECOND YEAR OPERATING AS A 501(C)3 NON PROFIT CORPORATION. WE MET FOUR TIMES WITH OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS, COMPLETED OUR PARENT HANDBOOK AND ADDED ONE MORE PERSON TO OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS. DURING THIS YEAR, THE SCHOOL WAS ABLE TO SERVE 153 FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN FROM K-12. NOT ONLY DID WE PROVIDE ACCOUNTABILITY THROUGH SUBMITTING THE REQUIRED PRIVATE SCHOOL AFFIDAVIT, COLLECTING ATTENDANCE AND GRADE REPORTS, BUT WE ALSO PROVIDED MONTHLY FIELD TRIPS AND PERIODIC TEACHER TRAINING SEMINARS. FROM A GRANT RECEIVED FROM THE HOME SCHOOL LEGAL DEFENSE ASSOCIATION (HSLDA), WE WERE ABLE TO OFFER TWO GENERAL SEMINARS ON FAMILIES WITH STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. IN ADDITION, WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE $1250 IN SCHOLARSHIP MONEY TO NEEDY FAMILIES FOR TUITION.
