THE NO WOMAN, NO GIRL INITIATIVE PROVIDES HOPE, ESSENTIALS, AND EDUCATION TO WOMEN AND GIRLS IN THE TRIANGLE AREA, REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF LIFE. OUR ORGANIZATIONAL VALUES ARE: HUMANITY - WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY WOMAN AND GIRL SHOULD BE TREATED WITH BASIC HUMANITY AND DIGNITY, REGARDLESS OF THEIR CIRCUMSTANCES OR BARRIERS; OUTREACH - WE BELIEVE IN DOING THE WORK OUTSIDE OF OUR OWN SPACE AND SERVING OUR COMMUNITY IN TANGIBLE WAYS; PARTNERSHIP - WE BELIEVE IN CREATING LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIPS WITH BUSINESSES, AGENCIES AND OTHER NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS RATHER THAN TRANSACTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS; EAGERNESS - WE BELIEVE THAT EVERYONE WHO SERVES SHOULD SERVE WITH AN EAGER HEART TO SEE OUR MISSION GROW AND MAKE AN IMPACT.

IN 2023, THE NO WOMAN, NO GIRL INITIATIVE PROVIDED 2,338 WOMEN, GIRLS AND FAMILIES WITH ACCESS TO HYGIENE PRODUCTS FROM HEAD-TO-TOE. WE ACHIEVED THIS THROUGH 3 PROGRAMS THAT ENCOMPASS OUR REACH WHICH INCLUDE OUTREACH, REFERRALS AND EMERGENCY SUPPORT SITES. CURRENTLY, WE HAVE 20 AGENCY PARTNERS WITHIN THE TRIANGLE OF NORTH CAROLINA WHERE WE PARTNER TO SERVE WOMEN, GIRLS AND FAMILIES THROUGH ALL 3 PROGRAMS. OUTREACH IS WHERE THE ORGANIZATION EXPERIENCES THE MOST IMPACT BECAUSE OF THE FACE-TO-FACE CONTACT THAT OCCURS THROUGH THE PROGRAM. IN 2023, 78.9% OF ALL REFERRALS WERE WOMEN OR GIRLS WHO WERE UNHOUSED. ADDITIONALLY, THROUGH OUR REFERRAL PROGRAM, WE WERE ABLE TO SERVE 70 WOMEN AND GIRLS WHO WERE EXPERIENCING AN ACUTE CRISIS. IN 2023, WE ENTERED A PARTNERSHIP WITH LOCAL HOSPITALS DUE TO THE ONGOING CONCERNS OF WOMEN EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY WHO WERE IN NEED OF HYGIENE PRODUCTS. THIS DEVELOPED OUR EMERGENCY SUPPORT SITES PROGRAM THAT PRIMARILY SUPPORTS WOMEN AND CHILDREN EXPERIENCING AN EMERGENCY, OF ANY SORT. IN 2023, 129,219 HYGIENE PRODUCTS WERE DONATED IN-KIND. SINCE OUR EXISTENCE, WE HAVE STRATEGICALLY BUILT RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL CHURCHES, BANKS, COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. WE RELY HEAVILY ON THE SUPPORT OF OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY TO KEEP OUR INVENTORY ADEQUATELY STOCKED TO ENSURE THAT WE CAN RESPOND TO THE MOST URGENT NEEDS.
