THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROMOTE AND BE CONDUCIVE TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, PEACE, CONVENIENCE, AND GENERAL WELFARE BY PROVIDING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND PUBLIC SERVICES AND PROMOTING THE GENERAL WELFARE WITHIN THE SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AND THE CITY OF COLUMBUS. THE ORGANIZATION ACHIEVES ITS MISSION BY HAVING TWO FULL-TIME CLEANING AMBASSADORS AND TWO FULL-TIME SAFETY AMBASSADORS.

IN 2022, THE SECOND YEAR OF OPERATIONS THE ORGANIZATION'S CLEANING AMBASSADORS REMOVED 67,860 LBS. OF TRASH, 31,815 LBS. OF DIRT AND ROCK, AND 53,730 LBS. OF YARD WASTE, PLUS 260 TIRES. THE ORGANIZATION'S SAFETY AMBASSADORS RESPONDED TO DOZENS OF HOTLINE CALLS PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO PROPERTY OWNERS AND BUSINESSES. INCLUDING SAFETY ESCORTS TO AND FROM CARS AND BUILDINGS, CHECKING OUT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY IN AND AROUND BUSINESSES, FIXING FLAT TIRES, JUMPING CAR BATTERIES, AND OTHER ASSISTANCE. THEY PROVIDED A SECURITY PRESENCE AND THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVED A GREAT DEAL OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT THEIR WORK.
