IN APRIL 2022, WE SIGNED A LEASE TO RENT A LOCATION AT THE KONA INTERNATIONAL MARKETPLACE. WE OPENED OUR DOORS TO THE PUBLIC ON OCTOBER 16TH, 2022. WE SECURED A GRANT FROM THE COUNTY TO BUILD AN EXHIBIT ABOUT WHERE OUR WATER COMES FROM. WE SECURED GRANTS FROM HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC AND THE HCF WEST HAWAII FUND TO BUILD AN EXHIBIT ABOUT KIDS GENERATING POWER. WE SECURED A PARTIAL GRANT FROM THE HCF KUKIO FUND TO BUILD AN EXHIBIT ABOUT LOGIC AND CIRCUITS. THIS GRANT WILL LIKELY BE REFUNDED.
