BAMAH IS A CHARITABLE/EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR ARTISTS FROM ISRAEL TO DEVELOP AND TEACH THEIR WORK PROMOTE CREATIVE INNOVATION, MUTUAL RESPECT AND UNDERSTANDING AND INSPIRE A MORE INCLUSIVE, RESPECTFUL, AND TOLERANT SOCIETY. OUR SIGNATURE INITIATIVE, THE VISITING ARTISTS PROGRAM, BRINGS LEADING ARTISTS TO TEACH ON CAMPUS AND SHARE THEIR WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY, SERVING AS THE CATALYST FOR IMPACTFUL CULTURAL DIALOGUE AND EXCHANGE.

IN 2023, BAMAH SUPPORTED SIX RESIDENCIES, THREE DURING SPRING 2023 SEMESTER (JANUARY-MAY) AND THREE DURING THE FALL 2023 ACADEMIC SEMESTER (AUGUST-DECEMBER). THESE RESIDENCIES TOOK PLACE AT AMERICAN UNIVERSITY, BOSTON UNIVERSITY, CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY (2), UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND - COLLEGE PARK AND UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN. QUANTIFIABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS: 1. SIX SEMESTER-LONG ACADEMIC RESIDENCIES, FEATURING SIX ARTISTS FROM ISRAEL. 2. SIX ACADEMIC COURSES THAT MET WEEKLY FOR THE FULL DURATION OF THE TERM, REACHING 91 UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS ON FIVE CAMPUSES. 3. ONE PUBLIC ART PRESENTATION PRESENTED IN SEVEN COMMUNITIES. 4. PUBLIC ARTS EVENTS REACHING OVER 3,400 ATTENDEES.
