THE COMMUITY PERFORMANCE ART CENTER SERVES AS THE COMMUNITY FOCAL POINT FOR THE ARTS. THEY NORMALLY HAVE PRESENTED OVER 180 MULDISCIPLINARY PERFORMANCES AND HOSTED MORE THAN 70 PERFORMANCE GROUPS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE FACILITY WAS SHUT DOWN IN LATE MARCH 2020 AND EXPERIENCED SIGNIFICANT LOSE OF REVENUES WHICH HAD TO BE REFUNDED OR PATRONS WERE OFFERED GIFT CARDS FOR FUTURE USE. THE PANDEMIC CONTINUED THROUGH THIS FISCAL YEAR WITH SEVERAL OUTDOOR CONCERTS IN THE SPRING AND SOME CLASSES WERE HELD BY ZOOM. MOST PERFORMANCES AND CLASSES WERE POSTPONED UNTIL AFTER THIS FISCAL YEAR, BUT WE HAVE NOT YET SEEN A RETURN TO NORMALCY. POSSIBLY FYE 2023 WILL BE MORE NORMAL FOR OPERATIONS.
