THE BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR IS THE ANNUAL HIGHLAND GAMES THAT BRINGS IN APPROXIMATELY 15,000 PARTICIPANTS INCLUDING GUEST ARTISTS, CLANS, VENDORS AND CELTIC SPORTS EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS INCLUDING SEPERATE EVENTS AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN. THERE IS ALSO A SEPERATE PIPING SCHOOL THAT TAKES PLACE DURING THE WEEK OF THE GAMES. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS SEVERAL CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS ON PIPING, FIDDLE, PENNY WHISTLE AND IRISH AND SCOTTISH DANCE. IN FEBRUARY THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS A SUPPER AND EVENT TO COMMEMORATE THE WELL KNOWN POET ROBERT BURNS WITH TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH MUSIC AND FOOD. IN MARCH WE CELEBRATE THE WELSH ST. DAVIDS DAY WITH TRADITIONAL WELSH MUSIC AND FOOD. ALSO IN MARCH WE CELEBRATE TEA WITH DIANA GABLEDON WHO DOES A READING FROM HER OUTLANDER SERIES AND HAS BECOME AN INCREASING POPULAR EVENT WOLRD WIDE. EACH YEAR WE CELEBRATE ST. PATRICKS DAY AND TARTEN DAY. WE PARTICIPATE IN THE FOURTH OF JULY PARADE. THE ORGANIZATION DOES HAVE A BROCHURE AND A CALENDER OF EVENTS THAT IS AVAILABLE ON THE WEB-SITE WWW.NACHS.INFO
