THE ARIZONA PHARMACY FOUNDATION EXISTS TO: 1) POVIDE FUNDS, MATERIALS, AND RECOURCES TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING THE ROLE OF THE PHARMACIST ON THE HEALTH CARE TEAM; INCLUDING THE PROPER USE OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICTIONS AND THE USE OF THOSE MEDICATIONS TO IMPROVE PATIENT CARE. 2) PROVIDE FUNDS, MATERIALS, AND RESOURCES TO THE PHARMACY PROFESSION IN ORDER TO FURTHER PHARMACY RESEARCH, PHARMACY RESIDENCY PRORAMS, STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. 3) PROVIDE NECESSARY SUPPORT TO ASSIST ANY HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL, PROFESSIONAL STUDENT OR LICENSED SUPPORT STAFF WITH ALCOHOL AND/OR CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY.
