EVERY DAY THE HOMELESS, THE INCARCERATED, AND THOSE IN RECOVERY ARE FEELING FORGOTTEN AND OVERLOOKED. GOLDEN BUTTERFLY BAKERS PROVIDES HIGH QUALITY BAKED GOODS TO HOMELESS ORGANIZATIONS, TRANSITION AND HALF-WAY HOUSING FACILITIES, AND PRISONS (VIA THE KARIOS MINISTRY) AS A TANGIBLE EXPRESSION OF GOD'S GRACE AND LOVE. GOLDEN BUTTERFLY BAKERS PROVIDES OVER 7,000 BAKED GOODS WEEKLY AS A PHYSICAL EXPRESSION OF GOD'S GRACE SO THAT THE RECIPIENTS KNOW GOD LOVES THEM, WE LOVE THEM, AND THEY ARE NOT FORGOTTEN, TOUCHING THE LIVES OF OVER 10,000 FORGOTTEN INDIVIDUALS EACH YEAR THROUGH THE BAKED GOODS WE DONATE. WE HAVE 10 RECIPIENTS: THE BEACON, 1000 HILLS, LORD OF THE STREETS, MAGNIFICAT HOUSE, THE RECENTER HOUSTON, EMERGENCY AID COALITION, THE WOMEN'S HOME, WOMEN'S HOME BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB, TURNING POINT CENTER AND THE MISSION OF YAHWEH. WE ARE DONATING 4,265 COOKIES A WEEK. COOKIES WERE DONATED TO 2 KARIOS PRISON MINISTRY WEEKENDS IN THE FALL, 2021 AND 3 IN THE SPRING, 2022. EACH WEEKEND RECEIVES BETWEEN 200 AND 265 DOZEN COOKIES. WE ANTICIPATE THAT ALL 5 OF THE KARIOS COMMUNITIES THAT WE WORK WITH WILL BE HOLDING WEEKENDS THIS FALL (THAT WILL BRING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF COOKIES TO ABOUT 1,200 DOZEN.
