AND ITMAKES CONTINOUS EFFORTS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT THE ONGOING GENOCIDEAND POLITICAL REPRESSION OF THE UYGHUR PEOPLE IN THEIR HOMELAND BY THECHINESE GOVERNMENT.THE UYGHUR CULTURAL ADVANCEMENT ASSOCIATION (UCAA), FOUNDED BY THEUYGHUR COMMUNITY IN THE BAY AREA, MAKES EFFORTS TO RAISE THE AWARENESSABOUT THE ONGOING UYGHUR ATROCITIES AMONG OTHER COMMUNITIES AND ISDEDICATED TO PRESERVING AND PROMOTING UYGHUR LANGUAGE, CULTURE ANDHISTORY WITHIN THE LOCAL UYGHUR COMMUNITY.
