SF BLACK WALLSTREET WAS FOUNDED IN JUNE 2020 BY A GROUP OF SEVEN BLACK SAN FRANCISCO NATIVES IN RESPONSE TO THE DEVASTATING IMPACT OF COVID-19 AND ANTI-BLACK RACISM ON BLACK BUSINESS, CULTURAL SPACE, AND STAKEHOLDERSHIP. WE ARE A NETWORK OF COMMUNITY SERVANTS, PROFESSIONALS, AND CULTURAL INFLUENCERS WHO ARE COMMITTED TO BLACK SOVEREIGNTY.

BLACK MILLIONAIRE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - THE PROGRAM AIMS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF BLACK MICRO-BUSINESSES AND NONTRADITOINAL BUSINESS OWNERS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNITY, STABILIZE EXISTING MICROBUSINESSES, CONNECT BUSINESS OWNERS TO SERVICE PROVIDERS AND INCREASE NETWORKING & SUPPORT AMONG PARTICIPATING ENTREPRENEURS. BMDP STAFF ASSIST IN CONNECTING OVER 20 BMDP GRADUATES TO OTHER PROGRAMS FOR TRAINING, GRANTS AND MENTORSHIPS. IN 2022, BMDP HAS PROVIDED OVER $360,000 IN MINI-GRANT INVESTMENTS AND HAS 44 SUCCESSFUL GRADUATES OF WOMEN, MEN AND YOUNG ADULTS. THESE BMDP GRADUATES CONTINUE TO BE PART OF THE SFBWS NETWORK.
JUNETEENTH -THE EVENT BUILDS ON THE 70-YEAR TRADITION OF JUNETEENTH CELEBRATIONS UPLIFTING BLACK CULTURE AND FREEDOM IN SAN FRANCISCO. BAYVIEW JUNETEENTH FEATURES LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES, HORSEBACK RIDING HOSTED BY BLACK COWBOYS, THE BLACK MILLIONAIRE MARKET FEATURING MORE THAN 30 REGISTERED VENDORS, AMUSEMENT PARKS, A HEALTH PAVILION AND VARIETY OF FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS. THE EVENT INCORPORATES BIPOC, NATIVE SF AND BLACK COMMUNITIES TO COMBAT THE UNDERINVESTMENT INTO THOSE COMMUNITIES. CENTERING THE BLACK COMMUNITIES EXPERIENCE CREATES SPACE FOR ALL MICRO AND SMALL BUSINESSES. CULTIVATING OUTDOOR MARKETS MAKES THAT MODEL INCLUSIVE FOR THOSE ACTIVITIES. AN ESTIMATED 500-700 ATTEND THIS EVENT WITH $29,000 IN TOTAL REPORT SALES FOR THE VENDORS.
HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION - DREAM KEEPER INITIATIVE -BEGINNING IN SEPTEMBER 2022, DKI SPENT OCTOBER TO DECEMBER ESTABLISHING CURRICULUM, CONSULTANTS, SERVICE MENU AND IDENTIFYING BUSINESS OWNERS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MASTER CLASSES. BY DECEMBER 2022, 6 SMALL BUSINESSES WERE IDENTIFIED AS HAVING THE POTENTIAL OF GROSSING $250,000 IN THE FOLLOWING YEAR.
