THE INSTITUTE FOR ADVERTISING ETHICS (IAE) IS THE ONLY INDEPENDENT BODY DEDICATED TO PROTECTING PROFESSIONALS AND CONSUMERS THROUGH ENHANCED ETHICS EDUCATION. OUR CERTIFICATIONS EQUIP ADVERTISING LEADERS TO IDENTIFY RISKS, BUILD TRUST, AND ENHANCE MARKET INTEGRITY.

GREEN SHIELD PROGRAM LAUNCH AND IMPLEMENTATION - DESCRIPTION: IN FEBRUARY 2023, IAE LAUNCHED THE GREEN SHIELD PROGRAM, AN ONLINE EDUCATIONAL COURSE AIMED AT COMBATING GREENWASHING AND IMPROVING THE INTEGRITY OF ENVIRONMENTAL COMMUNICATIONS IN THE ADVERTISING INDUSTRY. - OUTCOMES: THE PROGRAM QUICKLY BECAME RECOGNIZED AS THE GOLD STANDARD FOR GREENWASH PREVENTION, WITH MAJOR ADVERTISERS ADOPTING ITS ETHICAL STANDARDS. PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE A VERIFIED CREDENTIAL UPON COMPLETION. - IMPACT: ENHANCED TRUST AND TRANSPARENCY IN ENVIRONMENTAL MESSAGING, FOSTERING INDUSTRY-WIDE ACCOUNTABILITY. 2. CERTIFICATION ACHIEVEMENTS - MILESTONE: IAE CERTIFIED 2,500 PROFESSIONALS THROUGH ITS CERTIFIED ETHICAL ADVERTISING EXECUTIVE (CEAE) PROGRAM. - QUALITY ENHANCEMENT: IAE IMPLEMENTED QUARTERLY CERTIFICATION REVIEWS TO ENSURE ONGOING ADHERENCE TO ETHICAL STANDARDS AND CONTINUAL LEARNING FOR CERTIFIED PROFESSIONALS. - IMPACT: STRENGTHENED COMMITMENT TO ETHICAL ADVERTISING PRACTICES AND DEMONSTRATED IAE'S LEADERSHIP IN RAISING INDUSTRY STANDARDS. 3.
