RETHINK FOOD USA, INC. (RETHINK FOOD USA) SEEKS TO CREATE A SUSTAINABLE, EQUITABLE, AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD SYSTEM TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR RESTAURANTS TO PROVIDE FREE MEALS TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED IN THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE. RETHINK FOOD USA AIMS TO EXPAND ITS OPERATION AROUND THE COUNTRY. IT SEEKS TO DO SO BY CREATING PARTNERSHIPS WITH RESTAURANTS AND CORPORATE PARTNERS, ENSURING THAT RESTAURANTS ARE COMMITTED TO ELIMINATING FOOD WASTE AND CREATING NUTRITIOUS MEALS FOR THEIR COMMUNITIES. RETHINK FOOD USA WOULD THEN SUPPORT THE RESTAURANT IN SERVING AND DELIVERING FREE MEALS TO THE FOOD INSECURE IN THEIR COMMUNITY. THIS IS THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF RETHINK FOOD USA, AND IT AIMS TO ALLOCATE APPROXIMATELY 90% OF ITS TIME TO THIS PURPOSE WITH THE REMAINING 10% OF ITS TIME FOCUSING ON EDUCATING COMMUNITIES ABOUT USING EXCESS FOOD AND NUTRITION. THE ACTIVITY IS PRIMARILY FUNDED BY DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS AND CORPORATE PARTNERS AND THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH RESTAURANTS. SUCH WORK HELPS WITH RETHINK FOOD USA'S GOAL OF ELIMINATING HUNGER AND PROVIDING HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO THE FOOD INSECURE.
