HUMANITARIAN AID RELATED TO DISASTER RELIEF (COVID-19): GOLESTAN FOUNDATION PROVIDED $88,000 TO PURCHASE THE EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR USE OF HOSPITALS IN IRAN IN CONNECTION WITH THE PREVENTION, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT OF COVID-19. IN PARTICULAR, THE FUND WAS USED TO PURCHASE THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES: VENTILATORS, BIPAP MACHINE ACCESSORIES (MASKS, TUBES, CONNECTORS, ETC.), AND IV PUMPS. GOLESTAN FOUNDATION ALSO INITIATED PURCHASING A CT-SCANNER FOR VALIASR HOSPITAL IN FANOUJ IN SISTAN-BALUCHESTAN. VALIASR HOSPITAL IS THE ONLY HOSPITAL IN THAT REGION THAT PROVIDES ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE TO OVER 70,000 PEOPLE. HAVING A CT-SCANNER WILL UNDOUBTEDLY SAVE MANY LIVES BY IMPROVING THE EFFECTIVE DIAGNOSIS OF AILMENTS SUCH AS COVID-19.
