CARROLL TIMES HERALD WAS GIVEN THREE 3 GRANTS. ONE GRANT WAS FOR $500 THE SECOND GRANT WAS FOR $10,000. BOTH THESE GRANTS WERE MADE IN JULY 2021. A THIRD GRANT OF $20,000 WAS GIVEN IN DECEMBER 2021 FOR A TOTAL GRANT AMOUNT TO CARROLL TIMES HERALD OF $30,500 IN CALENDAR YEAR 2021. ALL THE GRANTS TOTALING $30,500 WERE GIVEN TO FURTHER THE MISSION OF WESTERN IOWA JOURNALISM FOUNDATION WIJF BY SUPPORTING REPORTING POSITIONS THAT WOULD EDUCATE INFORM AND ENGAGE RESIDENTS TO ENSURE LONG-TERM ACCESS TO ACCURATE LOCAL NEWS AND INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING IN WESTERN IOWA.
