IN 2023, THROUGH CARMELAS KITCHEN, WE PROVIDED DAILY MEALS TO 1,150 STARVING CHILDREN IN MALAWI, AFRICA, FOR 12 CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. THIS EFFORT RESULTED IN AN INCREDIBLE 287,500 NUTRITIOUS MEALS SERVED. STRATEGICALLY LOCATED WITHIN A SCHOOL, THE KITCHEN NOT ONLY ADDRESSES HUNGER BUT ALSO ENCOURAGES CHILDREN TO ATTEND CLASSES, FOSTERING EDUCATION AS A PATHWAY TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE FREE FROM POVERTY. FOR MANY CHILDREN, THIS MEAL IS THEIR ONLY SOURCE OF NUTRITION EACH DAY, MAKING THE PROGRAM A CRITICAL LIFELINE. LATIDOS TRICOLOR IS THE PROJECT THAT ADDRESSES THE URGENT NEEDS OF VENEZUELA, A NATION FACING PROFOUND CRISES IN ESSENTIAL AREAS SUCH AS HEALTH AND NUTRITION. IN 2023, THIS INITIATIVE PROVIDED 24,000 MEALS TO 2,500 MALNOURISHED CHILDREN, COMBATING HUNGER AND ITS DEVASTATING EFFECTS. ADDITIONALLY, THE PROJECT DELIVERED MEDICAL SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT, TREATMENTS, CLOTHING, AND CHRISTMAS GIFTS TO 50 IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN BATTLING CANCER AND OTHER CHRONIC ILLNESSES. THESE CONTRIBUTIONS BROUGHT HOPE AND TANGIBLE RELIEF TO FAMILIES IN DIRE CIRCUMSTANCES.
