BRIDGE THE GAP FUND: THE BRIDGE THE GAP FUND IS A CAPACITY-BUILDING GRANT DESIGNED TO COMBAT SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISPARITIES THAT HAVE INHIBITED BLACK ENTREPRENEURS FROM GAINING CAPITAL AND INVESTING IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE GRANT IS DISTRIBUTED QUARTERLY AND HAS THUS FAR BEEN AWARDED TO MORE THAN 26 BLACK ENTREPRENEURS WHO HAVE BEEN NEGATIVELY IMPACTED BY THE PANDEMIC, AS WELL AS BY RACIAL AND ECONOMIC INEQUITIES THAT HAVE EXISTED WELL BEFOREHAND. DISASTER RELIEF: AT REBUILDTHEBLOCK CORP. WE BELIEVE IN THE IMPORTANCE OF A CALL TO ACTION. THROUGH COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS WITH ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE SERVICES TO PEOPLE WHO ARE IN NEED, WE ARE ABLE TO ENRICH, ENHANCE, AND REBUILD OUR COMMUNITIES DURING UNFORESEEABLE EVENTS. WE ARE ABLE TO ALLOCATE RESOURCES TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT TAKE THE INITIATIVE TO HIT THE GROUND RUNNING DURING UNCERTAIN TIMES. THUS FAR, WE HAVE DISTRIBUTED FUNDS TOWARDS EFFORTS OF PROVIDING AID TO COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY THE MASSIVE POWER OUTAGES IN TEXAS IN THE YEAR 2021.
