GWCA - THIS PROGRAM HAS ENABLED US TO REACH THE INNER CITY YOUTH OF YORK CITY AND BY EXTENSION THEIR MOTHERS AND FAMILIES. WE HAVE SEEN THIS BECOME ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAYS OF REACHING FAMILIES IN YORK CITY. THESE KIDS COME FROM HOMES WHERE THE PARENTS MAY BE IN A GANG OR HOMELESS OR OTHER INTENSE SITUATIONS. WE OFFER A FULL TIME K-12 CHRISTIAN DAY SCHOOL AND IN ORDER TO KEEP THINGS OPERATIONAL THE STAFF AND TEACHERS ARE NOT PAID. WE CURRENTLY HAD ABOUT 10 STUDENTS IN THE SCHOOL THIS PAST YEAR. THROUGH THIS PROGRAM WE ARE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN RAISING THE EDUCATION LEVEL OF THE STUDENTS WE INVEST IN. THROUGH THE STUDENTS WE ARE REACHING THE FAMILIES AND HELPING THEM TO MAKE GOOD SPIRITUAL DECISIONS FOR THEIR FAMILIES AND HELP TO ESTABLISH STABLE ENVIRONMENTS FOR THE KIDS.
