CONDUCTED TWO 24TH ANNUAL BIGHORN SHEEP PERMIT RAFFLES FOR THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF GAME AND FISH. CO-SPONSORED THE WILD SHEEP FOUNDATION SHEEP SHOW IN JANUARY 2023. ATTENDED AND CO-SPONSORED THE ANNUAL WILD SHEEP FOUNDATION TECHNICAL CONSERVATION SUMMIT IN SOUTH DAKOTA. SPONSORED 10 NEW MEXICO PRONGHORN ANTELOPE AND 11 ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK YOUTH HUNTERS FOR THE NM DEPARTMENT OF GAME AND FISH, WHICH IS DONE ANNUALLY. SPONSORED A NEW MEXICO WOMAN REPRESENTATIVE IN THE THIRD ANNUAL WILD SHEEP FOUNDATION "WOMEN HUNT" PROGRAM. SHE WAS ONE OF ONLY TWELVE WOMEN SELECTED FROM THE U.S. AND CANADA TO PARTUICIPATE IN THIS WILDLIFE CONSERVATION AND HUNTER EDUCATION PROGRAM. DONATED TWO RIFLE PACKAGES TO TWO PARTICIPANTS OF THE "WOMEN HUNT" PROGRAM. CONSTRUCTED AND DONATED A LARGE BIGHORN SHEEP TEACHING/EDUCATION DISPLAY FOR THE NM DEPARTMENT OF GAME AND FISH. PROVIDED THE FOOD AND VOLUNTEER SUPPORT FOR THE RED ROCK BIGHORN SHEEP TRANSLOCATION TEAM. COMMITTED PARTIAL FUNDING TO THE BLM FOR THE "UPPER BLUE" WILDLIFE WATER CATHCHMENT PROJECT WHICH WILL BE CONSTRUCTED IN EARLY 2024. ASSISTED THE BLM IN SECURING PARTIAL FUNDING FROM TWO OTHER NEW MEXICO CONSERVATION ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE SAME PROJECT. PROVIDED VOLUNTARY LABOR TO THE BLM FOR THE RESTORATION OF THE AREA AROUND ANOTHER WILDLIFE WATER PROJECT, "LOS OJOS". THE WILDLIFE WATER 3-WAY PARTNERSHIP WE PARTICIPATED IN 2022 WAS AWARDED THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT'S "CONSERVATION PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD" IN MARCH OF 2023.
