PROGRAM TYPES: ART, ART HISTORY, AND WRITING WORKSHOPS CONCENTRATING ON PROFESSIONAL SKILL-BUILDING IN THE ARTS. PROVIDING A PLATFORM FOR HOUSELESS ARTISTS WORK THROUGH PUBLICATIONS, EXHIBITIONS, SALES, PRESENTATIONS AND PERFORMANCES. CONNECTING UNHOUSED ARTISTS TO PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD AND TO TRADITIONAL ART AUDIENCES.
IN OUR MONTHLY VIP FIELD TRIP SERIES, PARTICIPANTS ATTEND BEHIND-THE-SCENES TRIPS TO CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS AND CULTURAL TRADITION.
IN OUR MONTHLY LUNCH & LEARN WE BRING RENOWNED PROFESSORS INTO CONVERSATION WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ARE HOUSELESS INEQUALITY IN CHICAGO. ANNUALLY RED LINE SERVICE PARTICIPANTS CREATE AN ARTISTIC PRODUCT INSPIRED BY THESE LECTURES. IN SUMMER 2023, THAT PRODUCT WILL BE A VIDEOLOG IN WHICH ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND THE EXPERTISE OF UNHOUSED PARTICIPANTS WILL COME TOGETHER.
