YUP'IK CUTURAL EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES - CULTURAL EDUCATION ACTIVITIES IN THREE AREAS: (I) A YOUTH CULTURE CAMP, (II) CULTURAL EXCHANGES, AND (III) TRADITIONAL REINDEER HUSBANDRY.


SCHOLARSHIP ACTIVITIES - THE FOUNDATION INTENDS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATIONAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND CREATIVE PURSUITS OF ALASKA NATIVE CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO ARE ENROLLED IN THE ST. MARY'S NATIVE CORPORATION AND THEIR DESCENDANTS. THE POTENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ARE MEMBERS OF A MINORITY GROUP THAT HAVE HISTORICALLY LACKED ACCESS TO, AND HAVE BEEN SIGNIFICANTLY UNDER-REPRESENTED IN, HIGH EDUCATION.
