KAHULI LEO LE'A PRODUCED THE 2021 MAY DAY CONCERT. THE ONE HOUR VIRTUAL CONCERT WAS BROADCASTED A TOTAL OF FOUR TIMES ON TWO LOCAL CABLE STATIONS AND FEATURED PRE-RECORDED PERFORMANCES BY LOCAL MUSICIANS THROUGHOUT HAWAI'I. INITIALLY PLANNED AS AN IN-PERSON EVENT, THE CONCERT SHIFTED TO A VIRTUAL FORMAT DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMICKAHULI LEO LE'A PRODUCED AND RELEASED AN ALBUM OF HAWAIIAN MUSIC IN CELEBRATION OF 100 YEARS OF HAWAIIAN HOMES COMMISION ACT. THE ALBUM FEATURES SONGS WRITTEN FOR HOMESTEAD LANDS, PREFORMED BY PROMIENET HOMESTEAD ARTISTS. THE ALBUM WAS ACCOMPANIED BY AN HOUR-LONG TV/STREAMING PROGRAM, AS WELL AS AN EDUCATIONAL WEBSITE AT WHICH THE PUBLIC MAY ACCESS RELATED CURRICULUM.KAHULI LEO LE'A PROCED A FIVE-PART VIDEO SERVICES, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE HAWAII COUNCIL FOR HUMANITITES, THAT HIGHLIGHTS VARIOUS ARTISTS OF MUSIC AND POETRY - AND HOW THEY APPLY THEIR PRACTICE TOWARD CIVIC ENGAGEMENT.
