WE PARTNER WITH LOW INCOME SINGLE MOTHERS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO FOSTER INTERGENERATIONAL PROSPERITY. WE SUPPORT SINGLE MOTHERS SEEKING POST SECONDARY DEGREES OR CERTIFICATION AND PROVIDE HOLISTIC SUPPORT FOR THEM AND THEIR CHILDREN.

SEASONS VILLAGE LAUNCHED OUR PILOT PROGRAM IN JUNE OF 2022 AND WORKED WITH SINGLE MOTHERS WHO WERE PURSUING, OR WANTING TO ENROLL IN POST SECONDARY EDUCATION. OUR PILOT PROGRAM WAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER WITH SINGLE MOTHERS TO ENSURE OUR CURRICULUM WAS MEETING THE NEEDS OF OUR SPECIFIC POPULATION, AND TO RECEIVE INPUT AND FEEDBACK ON THE CURRICULUM. OUR CURRICULUM THAT SEASONS VILLAGE DEVELOPED FOCUSES ON LIFE SKILLS, CHANGING MINDSETS TO GEAR OUR FAMILIES FOR SUCCESS, TIME MANAGEMENT, THE POWER OF HABITS AND THEIR ROLE IN CHANGE, POSITIVE SELF IMAGE, GOAL SETTING, TIME MANAGEMENT, AND SELF CARE. WE PROVIDED DINNER AND CHILDCARE FOR OUR SISTERHOOD GATHERINGS. CONSISTENT WITH OUR MISSION TO PROVIDE TWO GENERATIONAL SUPPORT FOR SINGLE MOTHER LED FAMILIES WHILE THE MOTHERS ARE WORKING TOWARD, OR PREPARING TO ENROLL IN SCHOOL, WE HELPED WITH TUITION SUPPORT FOR THE MOMS, SCHOOL UNIFORMS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES SUPPORT FOR THE CHILDREN, AND WE PARTNERED WITH THE MOTHERS AND CHILDREN TO BROADEN THEIR EXPOSURE TO NEW EXPERIENCES. SEASONS VILLAGE PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AT THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS TO REDUCE SOCIOECONOMIC CHALLENGES. WE WORKED TO CONNECT OUR FAMILIES TO COMMUNITY RESOURCES TO ENSURE BASIC NEEDS WERE MET. AT THE CONCLUSION OF 2022, WE WRAPPED UP OUR PILOT PROGRAM AND USED THE FEEDBACK AND INSIGHT TO FINALIZE OUR FULL PROGRAM, PATHWAYS TO PROSPERITY. 2022 WAS A BUILDING YEAR TO RAISE MONEY TO HIRE A PROGRAM DIRECTOR AND HAVE FUNDING TO SUPPORT OUR PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED IN OUR FULL PROGRAM IN 2023. EXPENSES WERE LOW DUE TO THE SMALL PILOT PROGRAM AND THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR WAS NOT HIRED UNTIL MID DECEMBER.
