THE COEXIST PROJECT IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION BASED OUT OF PHILADELPHIA, PA. THIS ORGANIZATION WAS CREATED TO ADDRESS THE POVERTY CRISIS AND LACK OF BASIC LIFE RESOURCES IN SOME OF THE MOST AFFECTED NEIGHBORHOODS IN THE CITY. WE BEGAN IN OCTOBER 2019 WITH OUR FIRST BLESSING BAG GIVEAWAY. THE FOUNDERS OF THE ORGANIZATION STARTED THE COEXIST PROJECT AS A WAY TO GIVE BACK TO THEIR COMMUNITY. SINCE STARTING IN 2019 COEXIST HAS PROVIDED ABOUT 3,790 BLESSING BAGS AND MEALS FOR THE COMMUNITY. WITH YOUR HELP, WE CAN REACH OUR GOAL OF 2,000 MEALS AND BLESSING BAGS FOR 2022. WE WERE ABLE TO DO THIS AS AN ORGANAZATION AND OUR OWN FUNDING. WE DID NOT ACCEPT DONATIONS FROM 2019-2021 BECAUSE WE WEREN'T OFFICIALLY TAX EXEMPT UNTIL 2022. WE LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUING OUR WORK WITH THE HELP OF PUBLIC AND THEIR DONATIONS IN THIS 2022 YEAR.
