THIS COALITION IS A COLLABORATION AMONG GROUPS OR SECTORS OF OUR COMMUNITY, IN WHICH EACH GROUP RETAINS ITS IDENTITY, BUT ALL AGREE TO WORK TOGETHER TOWARD THE COMMON GOAL OF BUILDING A SAFE, HEALTHY AND DRUG-FREE COMMUNITY.LCC IMPLEMENTS A VARIETY OF PREVENTION STRATEGIES WHICH INCLUDE:- EDUCATING YOUTH AND THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE DANGERS OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE.- ADMINISTER AND COLLECT LOCAL DATA ON DRUGS AND ALCOHOL TO HELP CREATE ACTION PLANS TO DECREASE USE.- FURTHER EDUCATE/TRAIN BOARD MEMBERS ON DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE, LOCAL TRENDS AND PREVENTION TECHNIQUES- PROVIDE DRUG FREE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH, FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY.
