THE MISSION OF URBAN TRIAGE, INC. IS TO FOSTER BLACK FAMILIES' SELF-SUFFICIENCY, COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP, ADVOCACY, AND STUDENT SUCCESS THROUGH PARENT ENGAGEMENT AND CULTURAL HERITAGE.

OUR PROGRAMMING ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR DEVELOPING LIFE-CHANGING PROGRAMMING AND MOBILIZING COMMUNITY RESOURCES WAS DONE THROUGH THE FOLLOWING:SUPPORTING BLACK FAMILIES WORK GROUP - THEY WENT ON TO RUN FOR LOCAL OFFICES INCLUDNG THE CITY COUNCIL, DANE COUNTY BOARD, AND SCHOOL BOARD. LOCAL ELECTIONS MADE HISTORY AS A RESULT OF OUR WORK GROUPS. 80% OF GRADUATES WENT ON TO CONTINUE PSYCHOTHERAPY. 75% OF GRADUATES REPORTED HIGHER SELF-ESTEEM AND BETTER FAMILY RELATIONS. IN ADDITION, 50% OF GRADUATES BECAME VOLUNTEERS AND EMPLOYEES OF URBAN TRIAGE IN 2021.CO-CONSPIRATOR - 90% OF GRADUATES RECRUITED OUR NEXT COHORT WHICH LAUNCHED IN MARCH. 90% ARE VOLUNTEERS AND ARE BUDDIES IN OUR WORKGROUP SUPPORTING NEW PARTICIPANTS, 75% OF GRADUATES BECAME DONORS. 60% VOLUNTEER WEEKLY FOR URBAN TRIAGE IN 2021.TRANSFORMATIVE EQUCATION, EQUITY, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE CONSULTING. WE EXPANDED OUT CONSULTING SERVICES BY 100 FOLD. INCREASING AWARENESS AND ENGAGEMENT. BUILDING STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS, DONORS, AND VOLUNTEERS.COVID-19 SUPPORT EFFORTS BY PROVIDING GIFT CARDS, RENTAL ASSISTANCE, UTILITY ASSISTANCE AND FOOD PANTRY COORDINATED SUPPORT.
