THE MISSION OF THE UPPER VALLEY BUSINESS ALLIANCE IS TO PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND PROSPERITY OF THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE, INCLUDING HANOVER, LEBANON, ENFIELD, PLAINFIELD, CANAAN AND GRANTHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE AS WELL AS NORWICH, VERMONT. THE ORGANIZATION IS A MEMBERSHIP-BASED ORGANIZATION AND SERVES AS THE REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. THE ORGANIZATION OVERSEES AND COMMUNICATES PROPOSED STATE AND LOCAL LEGISLATION AND ORDINANCES, PROMOTES OUR REGION AS A TOURISM DESTINATION AND PROVIDES MARKETING OF THE AREA, INTERACTS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR ONGOING EDUCATION, AND WORKS WITH BUSINESSES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE GROWHT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF AREA TOWNS.
