PURCHASE AND OPERATION OF A THERAPEUTIC DAY CENTER AND NIGHT SHELTER FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS. WE WILL HAVE SOCIAL WORKERS, COUNSELORS AND SECURITY ON-SITE TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR HOUSING, REFERRALS TO SERVICES FOR HEALTH, MENTAL HEALTH, DRUG & ALCOHOL PROGRAMS AND JOB PLACEMENT

KHM PURCHASED A 13,300 SQ FT BUILDING AND ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RENOVATING THE BUILDING TO CODE TO ALLOW FOR THE OPENING. WE HAVE MADE AVAILABLE SPACE FOR A COLLEGE TO PLACE 5 DENTAL CHAIRS FOR THEIR DENTAL SCHOOL STUDENTS ALLOWING THEM TO PROVIDE DENTAL FOR HOMELESS AND UNDERSERVED DENTAL CARE. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF HIRING A DIRECTOR TO OVERSEE THE OVERALL SHELTER. THE COMMUNITY HAS SHOWN STRONG FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE PURCHASE AND RENOVATION OF THE SHELTER TO BE KNOWN AS GRACE HOUSE
