OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2021 INCLUDED:- THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED 1122 HOURS OF CAREGIVING SUPPORT TO FINANCIALLY DISTRESSED SENIORS, SOME OF WHOM SUFFERED FROM DEMENTIA. THIS INCLUDED RESPITE CARE TO FAMILIES EXHAUSTED FROM CAREGIVING. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED SENIORS WHO COULD NOT AFFORD ADULT DAY CARE WITH 164 DAYS OF SUPPORT. PHYSICIAN FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY PROVIDED COUNSELING AND SUPPORT TO 8 FAMILIES- THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED MUCH NEEDED RELIEF TO SENIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES AT A TIME WHEN THE PANDEMIC CAUSED EVEN GREATER EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL STRESS. PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL ISOLATION EXACERBATED FEELINGS OF ANXIETY, LONELINESS, AND DEPRESSION.
