EVENTS AND COMMUNITY BUILDING: IN 2022, HOSTED 39 EVENTS INCLUDING FIRST EVER IN-PERSON PROGRAMS. THE 15 IN-PERSON EVENTS WERE HELD IN MULTIPLE CITIES ACROSS THE STATE AND HAD OVER 1,400 ATTENDEES. NEW EVENTS CREATED INCLUDED THE INAUGURAL OHIO TECH SUMMIT, CEO RETREAT, AND CORPORATE INNOVATION SUMMIT WHILE OTHER EVENTS RETURNED FOR THEIR SECOND YEAR SUCH AS THE ANNUAL OHIO TECH DAY AND OHIO GOVTECH SUMMIT.

EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE: THE ANNUAL OHIO TECH DAY INITIATIVE CONNECTS COMPANIES, SCHOOLS, AND NONPROFITS ACROSS OHIO TO CELEBRATE OHIO TECH AND INSPIRE OHIO'S STUDENTS TO EXPLORE INNOVATION CAREER OPPORTUNITIES. OHIO TECH DAY INCLUDES VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING ACCESSIBLE TO ANY STUDENT OR CLASSROOM AS WELL AS LOCAL EVENTS HOSTED AT COMPANIES, SCHOOLS, AND NONPROFITS ACROSS THE STATE. IN 2022, 10,375 STUDENTS WERE REACHED AND RECEIVED CLASSROOM STICKERS TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE DAY WHICH WERE DESIGNED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HIGH SCHOOL TECH INTERNS AT AN OHIOX MEMBER COMPANY. THE STICKER CLASSROOM PACKETS SOLD OUT. WE CONTINUED TO CREATE PARTNERSHIPS WITH AND BETWEEN TECH INDUSTRY, EDUCATION, AND NONPROFITS TO BUILD A STRONG TECH TALENT PIPELINE IN OHIO.
TECH INDUSTRY PROMOTION: OHIOX ACTIVELY PROMOTES THE WORK OF MEMBERSHIP AND THE OHIO TECH COMMUNITY ACROSS A RANGE OF MEDIA PLATFORMS INCLUDING EMAIL COMMUNICATION, VIRTUAL EVENTS AND WEBINARS, SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS, BLOG POSTS, AND PODCASTS. IN 2022, OUR PODCASTS WERE DOWNLOADED MORE THAN 2,300 TIMES, MORE THAN 150,000 EMAILS WERE SENT TO SUBSCRIBERS, AND OUR LINKEDIN PAGE HAS BUILT A FOLLOWER COUNT IN LINE WITH SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS THAT HAVE BEEN IN OPERATION MUCH LONGER.
