SNAPKIDS IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ENRICHING THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES BY PROVIDING COMMUNITY BASED SWIMMING AND AQUATIC ACTIVITIES AND VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCES TO BUILD MORE DIVERSE, INCLUSIVE AND JUST COMMUNITIES.

SNAPKIDS IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING ACCESSIBLE COMMUNITY BASED AQUATIC SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES. PIVOTING TO VIRTUAL PROGRAMS, WE PROVIDED OVER 1200 SESSIONS UTILIZING OVER 2800 VOLUNTEER HOURS TO KEEP CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES ACTIVE AND ENGAGED AND PROVIDING UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS TO WORK WITH CHILDREN DIRECTLY. CHILDREN COULD SELECT FROM GROUP ACTIVITIES, INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS, AND/OR VIEW ADAPTED EXERCISE VIDEOS THAT COULD BE ACCESSED ANYTIME. WE WERE PLEASED TO PROVIDE UNIQUE AND MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES FOR OUR CHILDREN AND VOLUNTEERS, ALL WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE A MORE INCLUSIVE AND JUST SOCIETY. WE RETURN TO IN-PERSON SWIMMING IN SEPTEMBER 2022.
