STARLIGHT THERAPEUTIC RIDING CENTER, INC. PROVIDES EQUINE-ASSISTED ACTIVITIES AND THERAPIES FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH PHYSICAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES BY USING THE MOVEMENT OF THE HORSE TO IMPROVE THESE CONDITIONS. STUDENTS WILL INTERACT WITH SPECIALLY TRAINED HORSES TO ENHANCE THEIR PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE, SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND MOTOR SKILLS.WITH INPUT FROM PARENTS, PHYSICIANS, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS, OUR EXPERIENCED PATH CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS DEVELOP LESSON PLANS TO SUIT EACH OF OUR RIDERS SHORT AND LONG TERM GOALS. ADDITIONALLY, WE STRESS HAVING FUN IN A SAFE AND REWARDING ENVIRONMENT.
