CHILDREN'S OUTREACH PROJECT IS A NON-PROFIT THERAPEUTIC PRESCHOOL PROGRAM SERVING STUDENTS AGES 3-6. IN 2016-2017 WE SERVED 136 STUDENTS OF VARYING DEVELOPMENTAL ABILITIES. OF THOSE 76% WERE CONSIDERED LOW-INCOME QUALIFYING FOR ASSISTANCE FROM THE FEDERAL FREE AND REDUCED MEALS PROGRAM. 22 OF THESE STUDENTS RECEIVED SUBSIDY FUNDING FROM THE CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM OF ADAMS COUNTY. BY EMPLOYING HIGHLY SKILLED, WELL TRAINED TEACHERS AND STAFF, WE WERE ABLE TO MAINTAIN LOW TEACHER TO STUDENT RATIOS AND PROVIDE A NUMBER OF IN-CLASS AND EXTRA CURRICULAR THERAPEUTIC AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL THERAPIES, ALONG WITH MAINTAINING A STANDARD SCHOOL READINESS CURRICULUM.
