WHITE HOUSE SUMMIT FOR DEMOCRACY IN 2022, AIR PRODUCED A GLOBAL VIRTUAL ANTI-CORRUPTION TECHSPRINT FOR THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE'S BUREAU OF INTERNATIONAL NARCOTICS AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AFFAIRS (INL), AND THE OFFICE OF TERRORIST FINANCING AND FINANCIAL CRIMES (TFFC) OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY. OVER THE COURSE OF FOUR DAYS, FIVE REGIONAL TEAMS EXPLORED HOW TECHNOLOGY COULD BE USED TO COMBAT CORRUPTION. THE EVENT FOSTERED MULTILATERAL COOPERATION AND DEMONSTRATED THE POWER OF TECHNOLOGY, AND BUILT AWARENESS OF TECHSPRINTS AS A DIGITAL INNOVATION TOOL TO COMBAT CRIME.THE TECHSPRINT DREW PARTICIPATION FROM MORE THAN 500 INDIVIDUALS REPRESENTING OVER 70 COUNTRIES, JOINING TOGETHER AS PARTICIPANTS, EXPERTS, SPEAKERS, JUDGES AND OBSERVERS TO COMBAT CORRUPTION. AIR ALSO HOSTED A CONFERENCE WHICH FEATURED 43 SPEAKERS OVER FOUR DAYS OF PROGRAMMING. THE TEAM LAUNCHED A TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION RESOURCE CENTER THAT WAS AVAILABLE TO TECHSPRINT PARTICIPANTS AND PUBLISHED FOR BROADER CONSUMPTION. THE WORK OF THE TECHSPRINT WAS LATER FEATURED IN A PANEL AT THE INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION CONFERENCE IN WASHINGTON DC IN DECEMBER.

GATES FOUNDATION: LEVERAGING A GRANT FROM THE BILL AND MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION, AIR PARTNERED WITH THE RESERVE BANK OF INDIA INNOVATION HUB TO PRODUCE THE SWANARI (SELF RELIANT WOMAN) TECHSPRINT IN APRIL 2022. IN ADVANCE OF THE TECHSPRINT, THE TEAM HOSTED FIVE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS TO OBTAIN STAKEHOLDER INSIGHTS WHICH WERE THEN PUBLISHED IN A WHITEPAPER IN ADVANCE OF THE SPRINT. SEVEN PROBLEM STATEMENTS WERE DRAFTED AND SERVED AS THE FOUNDATION FOR THE VIRTUAL TECHSPRINT WHICH WAS COMPRISED OF THREE CONCURRENT TRACKS, 1) THE MINIMUM VIABLE PRODUCT (MVP) TRACK GAVE 41 TEAMS WITH EXISTING SOLUTIONS THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE FOR A PLACE IN THE CIIE. CO'S FINANCIAL INCLUSION LAB ACCELERATOR PROGRAM.; 2) IDEATION TRACK CONSISTED OF SIX CURATED TEAMS WHICH PRESENTED PROTOTYPE SOLUTIONS TO A PANEL OF EXPERT JUDGES; AND THE INSPIRATION COMMUNITY WAS A ROBUST CONFERENCE WITH A TOTAL OF 34 SPEAKERS PARTICIPATING IN 14 UNIQUE SESSIONS HOSTED OVER THE COURSE OF THE FIVE-DAY SPRINT. OVER 1,100 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
CLIMATE POSITIVE TECHSPRINT LAUNCHED WITH THREE EXPLORATORY SESSIONS TO IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM STATEMENTS AND BUILD A COMMUNITY OF EXPERTS. AIR HELD 15 1-1 DEEP DIVES TO IDENTIFY KEY EXPERTS, ARTICULATE PRIMARY CONCERNS AND OPPORTUNITIES AND ENGAGE THE PARTICIPANTS FOR THE TECHSPRINT, HELD IN JANUARY 2023. AIR HELD THREE 2-HOUR WORKSHOPS THROUGH OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER FOCUSED ON STAKEHOLDERS, MEASUREMENTS AND PARAMETERS, IN ORDER TO REFINE THE PROBLEM STATEMENT AND DRIVE INITIAL IDEATION FOR THE SPRINT. THE WORKSHOPS WERE ATTENDED BY THE 40 EXPERTS IN THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING THE PALO ALTO RESEARCH CENTER AND WITH CRYPTOCURRENCY EXECUTIVES AND ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP LEADERS. FOLLOWING THE WORKSHOPS, AIR ISSUED THE FINAL PROBLEM STATEMENTS TO THE COMMUNITY AND ANNOUNCED THE DIRECTION FOR THE SPRINT TO BE HELD IN JANUARY 2023.
